However, it is important to note that the natural ageing process continues and the skin and tissue can become slack again over time.
How does a lower eyelid lift work?
A lower eyelid lift begins with the administration of anaesthesia, followed by an incision along the natural lines of the lower eyelid (lash line) or in the inner eyelid area. Excess skin, fat and possibly muscle tissue are removed or redistributed and the incisions are closed with fine sutures. After the procedure, the patient is monitored in the recovery room and swelling and bruising will subside within a few weeks.

You should also avoid using ointments, creams and make-up for approx. 1 week after the procedure.
